Custom Engraving

How do I request custom engraving?

After adding a product to your cart, you'll see a text field where you can enter your engraving details — name, initials, date, short message, or design notes. Be as detailed as possible! If you have a specific logo or image in mind, reach out to us before ordering and we'll confirm it's possible.

What file formats do you accept for custom designs?

We accept SVG, PNG, and PDF files for custom artwork. For best results, high-contrast images with clean lines engrave most clearly.

Is there a character limit for engraved text?

It depends on the product and placement area. As a general rule, shorter is sharper — we'll reach out if your text needs to be adjusted to fit properly.

Do you send a proof before you start?

Yes — for personalized orders we'll send a digital proof for your approval before we begin crafting. You'll receive it via email within 1–2 business days of your order.

Can I make changes after I order?

We begin production quickly, so please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make a change. We can usually accommodate requests within the first 24 hours.


Turnaround & Shipping

How long does production take?

Personalized/engraved items typically ship within 5–7 business days. Standard (non-engraved) items normally ship within 3–5 business days.

Do you offer expedited production?

Contact us before ordering and we'll do our best to accommodate rush requests depending on our current queue.

Where do you ship?

We currently ship within the United States via USPS, UPS, and FedEx. You'll receive a tracking number as soon as your order ships.


Returns & Issues

What is your return policy?

Because most of our items are made to order and personalized, we are unable to accept returns on customized products. If your item arrives damaged or there's an error on our end, we'll make it right — just contact us within 7 days of delivery with a photo.

My item arrived damaged. What do I do?

Email us at hendrickshandcraftedllc@gmail.com with your order number and a photo of the damage. We'll get a replacement out to you as quickly as possible.

What wood types do you use?

We use all types! Each product listing will clearly identify what type(s) of wood are used or available. If you have a custom order that requires a very specific type of wood, email us to discuss further.

Will the engraving look exactly like my text/design?

We'll send a proof for approval before we start, so you'll see exactly what it will look like. Minor adjustments to sizing and placement may be made to ensure the best result on the wood.

Do your products make good gifts?

Absolutely — personalized, handcrafted items are some of the most meaningful gifts you can give. We offer gift-ready packaging and can ship directly to the recipient.
